The Challenge
Migrating product data and preserving SEO rankings during a platform swap is harder than building from zero. URL patterns needed to match the old platform exactly, with 301s where structure had to change.
The Approach
Next.js storefront with server-side product filtering, type-safe cart state, and edge middleware for URL rewrites. Full 301 map for changed URLs, sitemap submission to GSC, and Core Web Vitals optimization on PDPs. Product schema markup for rich results.
